Spring ’07 Fashion Flash Forward
Dear Fashion Aficionado:
With nary a snowflake in sight, Worth is ready to celebrate Spring 2007 - and what a beautiful and wearable season it is. The runways were full of truly elegant, sophisticated and easy separates that translate into the multi-faceted life of today's woman. And as usual, the Worth design team was right there with them.

The tailored, chic American sportswear of which Worth has built its reputation, was at the forefront of many designers' collections and stood out in stark contrast to collections in recent past designed for leggy 16-year olds. In its place were beautiful dresses in a multitude of shapes, loose and lean pantsuits reminiscent of 40's screen legends and silhouette-defining bottoms that ran the gamut from above-the-knee slouchy shorts to floor grazing menswear trousers to stovepipes that pool at the ankles.
Of course Worth captures all of these new pant looks introducing the "Stella" full short; the "Gladys" and "Scarlett" wide-leg pant and the "Keira" and "Melissa" narrower leg pant. And as always, Worth brings back all the favorite pants styles that are in so many of your wardrobes: the "Charlotte", "Shakira", and "Thora."

Like Fall '06, layering is key, but instead of bulky cables, the layers are now tissue-thin cashmere and t-shirting. Cotton and silk sweaters return at Worth once again as a summer staple. And on the opposite end of the spectrum, sharp suits in blended techno fibers marry the crispness of lightweight tropical wool with the all-day comfort of Lycra.
The overall silhouette has also loosened up a bit as well - jackets are not quite as cropped and pants and skirts have more of an insouciant volume and movement. In other words, you can breathe now and even perhaps ingest a morsel of food.
As usual, Strategic Image Partners has narrowed down the trends for you, and listed are our Top 10 Hits that will get you through the season in the style you are known for and the put-together look you have become accustomed.
